Lot 451: WWII US, Propaganda Leaflet

WWII United States Propaganda Leaflet dropped on German troopers urging them to surrender. German anti-Hitler leaflet, which shows Hitler standing, smiling, while German soldiers lay frozen on the ground in snow and reads, "Ich Fule mich so frisch. Es kommt der Fruhling," (I feel so fresh. Spring is coming). This ironic quote refers to the invasion of Poland and Hitler's oblivious attitude concerning German casualties, where soldiers were listed as, "missing," instead of dead to bolster survival numbers.
