Inuit Carved Walrus Tusk, important carved, 26" long cribbage board depicting in relief hunters rowing their kayaks home towing two walruses, the under side has a large figure of a man and three supporting legs. The end cap is silver with inscription, "Presented to Hon. Timothy D. Sullivan by his friend John W. Considine, Seattle, Washington, Feb. 1, 1907," included in a drawer compartment at the same end are six legs and three paddles. John W. Considine 1868-1943, was an impresario and pioneer of vaudeville, who with Timothy Sullivan, member of the NY House of Representatives and Tammany Hall boss, partnered to open 20 vaudeville theatres in the Pacific Northwest.
