American Needlework Purse. Important mid 19th century needlework purse, each side is hand stitched, has a fold over flap, woven edge and green silk tassels at the top and bottom, each depicts a compote of flowers and flowers on a vine surrounded by a small border of more flowers. The top flap is also floral stitched with central initials. In fine condition, mounted in a modern frame with glass on both sides.
