Joaquin Angles, 1859-1905, France, figural bronze and marble inkwell, the sleeping young boy resting on his book bronze sets on a black marble base with front pen slot and bronze capped inkwell, the boy figure is signed on its side, "J. Angles," cast in the bronze base which supports the boy and written on it, "Pendent La Veillee," (Waiting for the Evening Gathering), two small nicks on the marble edge.
