Eugene Kingman, 1909-1975, RI, oil on canvas of a mountain landscape, signed lower right, "E. Kingman," 19 3/4" x 28" wide, framed. In Mr. Kingman's third year at Yale he was commissioned by Horace M. Albright to paint seven park scenes at Sequoia, Mt. Ranier, Grand Teton, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Crater Lake. This painting appears to be Mt. Moran of the Grand Tetons, as seen from Jackson Hole Valley in north western Wyoming, circa early 1930's. Several areas of small paint loss, see pictures for exact condition.
