Of monumental form, the large head with pigmentation intact. Decorated cloth wrap to the elongated neck. Finely carved and powerful.
Comments: Probably created by the Northern Igbo, this dance crest is stylistically also related to some examples made by the Southern Idoma. Though the aquiline nose and large features may, at first glance, not seem to be particularly African, there is no indication that this mask represents a foreigner.
