Chinese Kangxi Beehive Water Pot, this shape known as "Taibo Zun," peach blush tan over glaze with under glaze of archaic dragon on 2 medallions, 3 5/16" tall x 4 3/4" wide. Horizontally written Kaishu 6 character reign mark, "Da Qing Kangxi Nina Zhi," with a teakwood stand, in very good condition. Provenance: The estate collection of Dr. and Mrs. Llewellyn Thomas Evans, Jaffrey, NH, purchased at Sotheby's in the 1960's or 70's.
