Full Stock Pennsylvania Flint Lock Rifle .38 caliber full stock target rifle with double set trigger, This rifles full tiger maple stock is decorated with both pierce-cut and engraved brass butt stock fittings and patch box, along with 14 line engraved German silver (?) adornments. Octagonal rifled barrel measures 38 5/8" long. Hinge of patch box is engraved "FM 1842." Left side of buttstock is ornately line engraved in the period script style of the day and bears the initials "JA." Repairs to stock, replaced ram-rod. Please study photographs for condition.
