Early 20th Century Sons of Union Veteran's Sword. Clam shell of this sword bears the "SV" cipher. Blade is maker marked but illegible and although it has a highly polished surface it has a light layer of rust over most of its surface. Scabbard with losses to its chrome plating and rust spotting. Blade measures 28" long and sword scabbard is 33 1/3" overall. All Civil War Items are from the collection of Richard Vitagliano of Concord, NH, collected over Forty Years.
