Early Spanish Vargueno (Fall Front), Carved Chest, heavily carved front in a Moroccan motif, front has bottom hinges (newer), that allow front to drop down and reveal a compartmentalized interior, a large early iron lock with sliding bolt keeps the front from collapsing, straight wooden square legs, 34" tall x 76" long x 24" deep, probably 17/18th century.
