A fine and old example depicting a kneeling warrior with a shield in one hand and an implement, possibly an axe in the other, with high coif with typical Oyo chip carving. The face skillfully rendered and sensitive. The blade heavily oxidized but with remains of incising, emerging from the rear of the coif. The handle well patinated. On a custom base.
