Lot of two 19th century Fighting Knives. A) Double edged, spear point dagger with a brass cross guard and an oak wood handle. Blade measures 7.75" and knife measures 13" overall. B) Double edged, spear point dagger with a brass cross guard and a bone handle. Blade impressed "Washingtonian" and Ricasso impressed "D.C.L.". Probably for the Sheffield knife maker D.C. Leon. Bone handle has been repaired with what appears to be a clay like epoxy. Blade measures 6.5" and knife measures 10 7/8" overall. Estimate $300 to $400.
