Lot Of Five Snuffs: A - Horn snuff with primitive decoration of horse, heart, cross and trees, dated "1888, ring inserted into top and brass tack decoration, 1 5/8" x 2 1/4". B - Ivory with hinged top lid, hot needle etched decoration on all 4 sides, brass banding on each side with brass tack decoration, 3 3/*" x 2", some losses to hinges, probably late 19th/early 20th century, American. C - Burled wood carved cigarette box 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" wooden hinged cover, 20th century small crack on back. D - Two small burl wood snuffs, nice grain, 2 1/2" and 2 5/8", this one with losses. Provenance: An Amherst, NH collection. Estimate $250-400
