B - Black stained wooden box with possibly egg tempera female face on lid, metal hinged top, remains of powdery residue inside, 3" x 2", 19th century C - Small wooden box with black varnish and Mother of Pearl decoration, 2 1/2" x 1 1/8". D - French "LA Cene," The Last Supper, wooden box, 3 1/2" x 2". E - Oriental papier-mâché' box with pagoda and bridge decoration, losses, 3 1/2" x 2 3/16". Provenance: An Amherst, NH collection.
