Antique Tin Winged Oversized Shore Bird: Rare oversized working shore bird with splayed tin wings. One piece carved wood body with a single piece wing shaped tin nailed to the body with late 19th century, partially rounded cut nails. Original paint decorated surfaces with rope wear around neck from carrying. Appears to have original heavy gauge wire beak, shore bird measures, 15.75" long and has a wing span of 20.5".
