High Grade Combination Gun By L. Frauenstorfer of Mannheim, Features a 16 gauge shotgun over a 9.3X72R mm rifle. 27 inch Krupp steel barrels. Both bores are mirror bright with sharp rifling. Solid rib with one fixed rear sight and one flip-up blade. Lot includes a 10 round Norma box containing 7 unfired rounds and 2 spent cases. Semi-obsolete, this ammunition is made on an intermittent basis by Sellier & Bellot and is frequently available on the internet. Barrel blue is about 90%. Scalloped receiver features about 50% fine scroll engraving coverage with cocking indicators and Kirsten cross bolt. Shotgun trigger has screw adjustment. Wood has very nice black streaking and no significant dings or scratches though finish is thinning just very slightly. Classic European cheek piece. Super-fine checkered one piece forend and pistol grip in perfect condition. Tiny Buffalo horn inlays at front of forend, to rear of stock cheeks and pistol grip cap and butt plate may also be of similar material. European style sling swivels installed on stock belly and rifle barrel.
