18thC Hawaiian Poi Pounder, Made of closely grained basalt, 7" tall x 4 1/4" diameter at bottom, smooth use wear and old color. Provenance: Upsala/ Stockholm, Sweden with possible "Anders Sparrman of Captain Cook fame" source as they were thought to be maulers, same collection as #60.
