Simon Willard's Patent Banjo Clock, Having an unsigned round paint iron dial (wear), "T" bridge brass movement, line inlaid edge around throat glass and lower tablet, both the reverse painted throat glass and lower tablet appear to be original including the "S. Willard's Patent" inscription, the reverse has numerous notations written in pencil with dates of cleaning etc. dating back to 1851, cast brass eagle finial appears to be replacement, 34 1/4" tall including finial.
