Important Marquesas Islands Uu Uu War Club, Polynesian carved dark hardwood club which has an arched top with hooded eyes having a face mask as pupils over a diamond shaped shoulder with a center face mask over a tapering shaft with an additional face carving leading to a round shaft and slightly flaring tip, old color, tool marks and age cracks, 42 1/2" long x 5 1/4" wide at shoulder, from a private European collection to an American collection till now.
