Large Framed Chinese Needlework. Colorful depiction on silk of flying and roosting birds in a flowering tree. Laid down on a rice paper backing with applied silk borders. May be a fragment of a larger work or from a Chinese scroll. Frame is of rosewood inlaid with MOP with some losses of inlay. Panel measures approximately 37" tall x 24" wide, with frame, 48" tall x 32" wide.
