A Very Nice Cased Colt Model 1849 Revolver Serial Number 69961, Made in 1853. 4" barrel. .31 caliber. Walnut box compartmentalized for revolver, lead ball bullets, Dixson & Son combination shot and powder flask plus nipple wrench, Colt marked bullet mold and Japanned tin holding percussion caps. All revolver serial numbers match including wedge. Pistol remains in very good condition and retains much blue . Faint case colors remain on hammer, frame and loading lever. 90% silver plate on trigger guard and straps. 90% varnish on grips. Light dings on right side of barrel assembly where wedge protrudes. Sharp cylinder scene. Functions perfectly. A very nice assembly.
