Insect Brooches, A) Diamond encrusted yellow gold fly with ruby eyes and opal body, unmarked gold. Rose cut irregular diamonds comprise the wings and lower body segment, working mechanism, measures approx. 1 1/4" length, 15/16" width and weighs 9.1 grams. B) Yellow gold, 14k marked, bee with ruby eyes and opal torso, one leg appears bent, 15/16" long, 13/16" wide, weighs 5.7 grams.
