Cesare Esposito (1886-1943) Oil on canvas; Portofino, Liguria 65cm x 90cm (roughly 26" x 36") A bright and well preserved canvas from the known Neapolitan painter, from his time in Liguria. This particular painting appears to be of Portofino, in Liguria, where Esposito lived and worked later in life. it is very well executed, and without discounting its artistic merit, quite decorative. The painting comes from the collection of a prominent diplomat, and was recently cleaned and professionally conserved.
