Lot 212: Winchester Model 21 20 Gauge Shotgun

Winchester Model 21 20 Gauge Shotgun. Beautiful little upland gun with IC and IC chokes. Auto-ejectors and single selective trigger. 26" barrels and 2 3/4" chambers with automatic safety. Excellent bores. Original highly figured beavertail forend with excellent checkering in 95% condition. Gun has been masterfully restocked in high grade walnut with a straight English grip. Length of pull is 13 3/4" to a leather recoil pad. Original highly figured pistol grip stock that appears to never have been used is included as well as an extra splinter forend. Length of pull of extra stock is about 14 1/4". Receiver blue about 90% with some wear on edges where gun was carried. Barrel blue about 80% with some thinning, especially at the muzzles and breaches where carried. All barrel wall thickness exceed 35/1000". Serial number: 27794. Made in 1953. Drop at heel: 1 1/4". Drop at comb: 2 1/8".
