Lot 53: Unknown Percussion Rifle and Two Powder Horns

Unknown Percussion Rifle and Two Powder Horns, A) percussion rifle with 45" barrel in unknown caliber, barrel has been cleaned to a silver finish with the previous owner's name engraved into the top of barrel, L. Allen W____bury, rifle sights. Brass trigger guard that shows an engraved flower. Silver front caps. Brass ram rod holders and wedge escutcheons, ram rod has been glued in a couple places and a big chip out of small end. Wood stocks show nice grain and moderate handling marks, overall good condition. B) Leather powder flask, AM Flask & Cap Co. in 1 1/2 and 1 1/4 drams on the brass measure. Leather flask marked 2 1/2 lb. Leather shows light wear and missing bottom strap. Good condition. C) Unmarked powder horn 7" overall. Chips and decay at the filled end does have wood stopper and in fair condition.
