Colt 1855 Root Sidehammer Pocket Model 5 serial# 7230, manufactured 1863, 31 cal with a 3 1/2" barrel with moderately pitted bore and cylinder. Case colored hammer and cylinder show very light trace of color. Nickel finish shows light orange peel finish with dark gray color, one piece wood grips show light wear and handling marks. Marked address COL. COLT NEW YORK USA and grip back strap under grip is marked "B" in two placed. Springs very weak but does operate. Overall good condition.
