John Hill Millspaugh, NY (1822- 1894) Oil on paper laid down on panel, bears a label on verso frame with ink inscription "No. 3 Study on the Susquehanna river price $30 JN H. Millspaugh", 5 1/2" x 11 3/8", see history attached to rear, Mass. private collection was shown to Palmer Art Museum at Penn State University versus their larger pastoral landscape. Small dent in surface lower right corner.
