Asahel Lynde Powers, Vermont, Illinois (1813-1843). Pair of oil on canvas portraits of Lucius and daughter Mary Plumb of Middlebury(Weybridge) Vermont, each one signed on the back " painted by AL Powers 1839", 29 1/4" X 48 1/2", 20thC gold frames. Descended in the Plumb family until sold by us.
