Solomon Islands Figural Staff, nicely carved depiction of a child's head, followed by a female, both with MOP eyes, she holds onto a head while he stands on a platform with MOP inlay over a double head with a snake coiled around the bottom of staff with MOP eyes and decoration on top of shaft, 41 1/8" long. Faces on the staff often represent a chief and his ancestors. Nice condition, probably 1940's. Provenance: A Cape Cod collection. Estimate $600-900
