A Turkish Yataghan Sword C1800, White bone grip with spine decorated with red semi-precious stones and etched copper. Similar decoration at ricasso and Eastern writing on the blade. Purple velvet covered scabbard with single tassel sword knot. The yataghan was a standard weapon of the Turkish infantry. Blade length: 34 1/2". Length overall: 40".
