French 19thC Boxed Silver Service for Twenty-Four, Bearing the Paris hallmarks- head of Minerva #1 for .95 silver, and the makers mark Henry Soufflot (1884-1910) 89 Rue de Turbigo, Paris; This set contains 253 pieces (see photos for a detailed list) places in an oak hinged box with silver plated engraved crest and monogram having a five fitted drawer interior. Approximately 255 troy ounces weight excluding the steel bladed knives and salad set, there are twelve coffee spoons in the third drawer which are silver but do not match the set. Provenance: This set was descended in the family until now.
