Lot 238: Browning Safari Bolt Action Rifle s#L11374

Browning Safari Bolt Action Rifle s#L11374 in 264 win mag caliber. Fn high power safari grade. Blued finish shows very light wear but someone in a few places has etched his name and ss# on receiver on barrel. Drilled and tapped with bases attached. Bolt is in the white with some old oil residue. Bore is strong with some very light pitting. Wood monti carlo type stock cheek piece and checkering shows some light handling marks. This does not appear to be salt wood as there is no rust or pitting where the barrel and receiver touch. Black alloy trigger guard and magazine well trapdoor have gold inlaid engraving and are in excellent condition. Overall I have to say very good+ condition because of the engraving by owner on the barrel and receiver.
