Lot 233: Unmarked British Proofed Side by Side Shotgun s#1388

Unmarked British Proofed Side by Side Shotgun s#1388 water table and forend lug marked DP3. 16 gauge with 29 1/2" barrels that show some very light pitting. Finish is a deep brown patina and has a wide v notch rear sight and front bead sight. Barrel also has a small dent about 6" from muzzle on the left side. Bore is shiny with very light pitting. Wood rear stock has pistol grip and cheek piece with rubber white line recoil pad. Receiver also has a brown patina with double triggers that appear to function as they should. Stock show moderate wear and handling marks. Receiver appears to be missing a cap on filler on left side at hinge. Overall good condition.
