Kran people, Liberia and Ivory Coast. H; 12” The mask of classical form, the brow large and overhanging, the perimeter covered with hobnails. The eyes long and tubular, the nose simple and with flaring nostrils, the mouth with hobnails about the perimeter. The sides with double flanged, raised devices. Fine patina of use with multiple applications of pigments. On a custom base. Ex. Ehrlich collection, NY prior to 1998
